As always, I can’t
resist, but to point out how irresponsible we human beings currently behave to
mother earth and of course to each other following the logic conclusions from
chapter 1. Through endless power and profit-mania, through senseless greed and
egoism, we have treated mother earth really badly in the past century (and each
other as long as the human being has probably existed). Our Earth behaves like
any other living being. It transforms its face and grows naturally through the
elements of fire, wind, water and earth. It reproduces itself like the cells in
our human body so it can grow or survive. Planet earth can get sick like any
other organism and needs treatment, too. It can have the galaxy-flu and in turn
take in a small tsunami for its cure. But what happens when our earth gets sick
really really bad? When it gets cancer because of the way we human beings treat
it? What if we were healthy cells in the beginning and have now transformed
into cancer cells? So I feel empathy then, if Earth has to get more intense and
frequent treatments through stronger hurricanes, stronger earthquakes, stronger
tsunamis and stronger eruptions. Also, it will happen more often. It’ll have to
fight back and kill the disease. It’s a live or die game for our earth.
Unfortunate for us, we will die along with it as we are the cells within that
body. Well, let’s face it, we are the disease.
Once a body dies
so will everything else contained in it. Now, let’s look at the current news
and historic statistics what’s going on all around our planet. To be honest, I
see cancer, but I’m not sure in which stadium mother earth currently finds
herself. I hope, it’s not terminal yet and a cure will be found. In my opinion,
there are 2 options: either earth takes strong antibiotics and erases the human
race from its body. Or the cancer cells transform back into healthy cells by getting
rid of its very own diseases: Greed and egoism. I hope for the 2nd
option. But that would mean that we’d have to find the roots of the disease,
and get rid of them who corrupt other cells. We’d have to start with the greedy
dictators of the world who act in public but also those who act behind the
curtains.
But more importantly,
we’d have to change the supercapitalistic system that we currently live in and
transform it into a healthy social democratic system. Let’s be honest, we still
have nuclear energy, because it is cheaper (and industry dictators make us
think we need them and block alternative inventions). We still use cars with
gas, because they are faster (and industry dictators make us think we need them
and block alternative inventions). We still build more and more concrete
commercial shopping centers because we need to consume more in order to distract
our minds of our misery (and industry dictators make us think we need it, use
media to stimulate that thought and therefore block human creativeness and
connection with each other, with spirituality, with philosophy, with politics
with love, with education, with everything of real value etc.). When have we
started living in a world, when all that matters is how much money you have or
earn and that based on that money (which is by the way the creation of the
human being) we make decisions that we think are efficient, but in reality are
catastrophic for our earth and for all human beings.
