Talking to God (Poem)

I dare to call God with a secret name
Try to understand and it would be in vain
Only the Majesty himself is allowed to hear
Don't get me wrong, it is not because of fear

For in order to believe and understand
Many worlds away human ears must be sent
Not bearable it is for the deaf mind of foes
That secret of the name the hidden soul knows

Woe me! I would be murdered if a blind man heard
But know he's late! My life love already took away
Oh! How this sweet talk with God makes me look absurd

I cannot care for eveything is at his will
So let's surrender and enjoy his loving voice
Or else be speechless and keep forever still.

Aşık olmak

Hani onu ilk gördüğünde
Aşık olursun diye inananlar var ya
Malum gerçek aşk ilk gördüğünde değil;
Onu her gördüğünde aşık olmak demekmiş.

Geceleri uyuyamazlar ya aşıklar
Sonra sabahları uykusuz kalırlar
Bilakis ben hemen uykuya dalıyorum
Çünkü rüyalarımda ona kavuşuyorum.

Erken uyanıyorum gündüzleri
O güzel rüyayı unutmamak için
Uyumak çılgınlık gibi geliyor
Sonra ben de uykusuz kalıyorum.

Yıllar geçer unutursun derler
Yıllar geçti yine onu hatırladım
Oysa ki zaman bir yanardağ gibiymiş
Aşkı içinde
gizlice biriktirirmiş.

Nasıl anlayabilirler ki onlar
Onunla yanmaya hazir olduğumu…

I have had a discussion with a friend about whether it's right to ask big questions on life and happiness. We discussed if it makes sense to find answers at all or leave it...

Maybe asking big questions about life or happiness or truth or purpose is right.
Or wrong.

Maybe only just having straight fun, enjoying the moment with friends, laughing, drinking, having awesome sex is right.
Or wrong.

Maybe something in between is right.
Or wrong.

Maybe nothing at all is right.
Or wrong.

Maybe something is right today.
But wrong yesterday/tomorrow.

Maybe something is right for someone.
But wrong for someone else.

Maybe that's why there is no right or wrong.

Maybe there is just the experience. And that's all what's left.

The silence

When mouths are still
our eyes start to see
When eyes are shut
our hands start to touch
When hands are hidden
our lips start to kiss
When lips are sealed
our skin starts to tremble

Oh beloved
once the skin is silent
finally our hearts start to speak

Daha sonra buğdaydım kesildim;
Hamurdan yoğurdu aşçı beni
Kat kat ayıracağım dedi seni.
Fırında ateşle yaktı canımı
Yetm katlı baklava koydu adımı;
Bal şervet ekledi bir anda
Ne tatlı olmuşum su anda.
Gümüş tepsilerde dağıtıldım her yere
Tadılmak için bekliyorum bir kere;
Yetmiş katlarımdan deldi çatal kaşık
Özlem ile tek tek aldı beni yedi aşık.

Ne güzel eriyip yok oldum karnında
Dil üstünde daima kaldım varlığımla.

Ahhhh Sweet Beloved...

Holy mountains are being torn apart
with my crazy craving love of heart
While I am still waiting for you -
For you to become one day true...

With the world do reconcile
By using your god given gift
On faces you will put a smile
To heaven it will be a lift. (Y)

Gedicht No:51 (German) / Siir No:52 (Turkish)

Currently in a long meditation period of my life... Be back when the time is ripe...

Gedicht No.51(Poem in German):
Zu dir beten
an dich herantreten
sein so wie du
ein schweigendes huuuu.

Von der Welt
bleibt das Entgelt
wie das Tier
voll Scham und Gier.

Geh heim
kehr zurück
lass sein
das weltliche Glück.

Es ist Schein
eine wahrliche Pein
komm sei rein
trink aus den Wein.

Siir No.52 (Poem in Turkish):

Insan icin dinlenecek yatak olmak istiyorum...

Yatsin, uyusun...
Derdini sessizce anlatsin...
Icime döksün...

Gerekirse sert, gerekirse yumusak olurum
Gerekirse rüya , gerekirse bir kabus gönderirim
Gerekirse sevgi veririm, gerekirse yanlizlik yasatirim
Gerekirse oksayarak hemen uyuturum
gerekire tüm gece boyunca uyutmam
Gerekirse evde kalici bir yatak
gerekirse gecici bir otel yatagi olurum
Gerekirse sessiz bir gece yasatirim
gerekirse disarida gök gürültüsü dinletiririm
Gerekirse yorganla isitirim
gerekirse yorgani cekip üsütürüm
Gerekirse unutulmaz bir ask gecesi yasatirim
gerekirse yanlizlikla izole ederim...

...her insanin kendi dilinden konusmak gerekiyor...

Purpose of Dreams

Lately I've been thinking about dreams. It's wonderful as the dream intends to wake you up from your great sleep whispering to your soul everyday: "Come back to reality, don't dream anymore, live the beauty of me, id est, use all your 5 senses, instead of only imagining me". Ironic, but wonderful in a sense, the final purpose of the dream is to make you stop dreaming and start living...

with Love.

Kahlil Gibran - Passage about love (from The Prophet)

Why is it that love never comes easy? Maybe because we have fear, or we believe that we don't deserve to be loved because we don't love ourselves, maybe because we have the wrong definition of what love really is, maybe because we have to fight for love to understand its true value or maybe it just really isn't meant to be...whatever it is, not only the question, but also the answer doesn't come easy...let's ask Master Gibran.

Love

Then said Almitra, "Speak to us of Love."
And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them.
And with a great voice he said:
When love beckons to you follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Kein Titel (Gedicht)

Alles ist nur Einmal.
Sogar die Unendlichkeit.
So wünscht mein Herz dir
eine Sternschnuppe in deine Hand
die dich sicher durch die Dunkelheit
des Lebens führt - zu diesem Ort des Lichts.
Dort, wo die Sterne heimkehren
nachdem sie aus Liebe
ihren letzten Lichtstrahl
der Weite des Universums geschenkt haben.

Y.G.

Dein Schatten (Gedicht)

Die Tür ist geschlossen
dein Duft ist mit dir fort.
Im Winkel sehe ich noch
wie dein Schatten sich
majestätisch auf dem Boden
einen Augenblick lang
selbst betrachet.

Schon entfernst du dich
und es bleibt bald nichts.
Dein Schatten, immer kleiner werdend,
verabschiedet sich von mir.

Seine Dunkelheit ergießt sich pechschwarz
über die scharlachroten Pflastersteine.
Doch auch sie werden nur kurz
deine flammende Liebe spüren dürfen
ehe er mit jedem deiner Schritte
seinen göttlichen Schweif hinterherzieht.

Oh meine Liebe,
dein Schatten ist wie ein Komet
der in Millionen Farben brennt
und bei seinem unerbittlichen Kreuzzug
seine Macht den Hinterschauenden offenbart.

So halte ich dich in Erinnerung,
bis dein Schleier sich erneut enthüllt
bei Tag oder bei Nacht
in der tiefen Sehnsucht meines Seins.

City of gold (Poem)

No plague or nightmare
Will await you there.
It surrenders with its whole gates
Whispering kisses to the soul mates.

Innocent laughter fills a starry night
Nay nay, today malheur is out of sight.
Fortunate faces face freedom for free
paying the price of the counterfeit me.

Climbing the hangs of a philosopher’s way
A heavy duty, first you must atone
To finally gain the philosopher's stone
Only Your own ego you will have to betray.

After victory against all the lies
Reach a garden with drunk butterflies
And even all the mystic flies
Will have a pair of golden eyes.

Those who have seen and not been told
Only they know the story of the city of gold...

Y.G.
